Community-led initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Simple, local, measurable.

Focus Projects 2025–2026

This year, District 3000 is concentrating effort -and funding – on three high-impact project lines that touch everyday life: WASH in schools, HPV prevention for adolescent girls, and digital classrooms for government schools across our eight districts in South Tamil Nadu.

Toilet Blocks for Rural Government Schools (WASH)

Why it matters: Dignity and hygiene keep children—especially girls—in class.
What we’ll do: Build and hand over toilet blocks in underserved villages with simple O&M and hygiene sessions.
Scale & unit cost: ₹7.5 lakh per school, targeting 50 schools.

Cervical Cancer Prevention for Adolescent Girls (Health)

Why it matters: Early prevention saves futures.
What we’ll do: Run consent-led awareness and vaccination drives in partnership with local health departments; ensure follow-up.
Scale & unit cost: ₹3,000 per girl, goal 10,000+ girls across District 3000.

Smart Classrooms for Rural Schools (Education)

Why it matters: Better tools, better learning.
What we’ll do: Equip classrooms with Smart TVs/interactive touch screens and support teachers to use them well.
Scale & unit cost: ₹1.25 lakh per school, targeting 100 schools (priority to backward blocks).

What impact looks like

1. Practical units
One school, one ward, one device—projects you can visit and verify
2. Measurable outputs
Toilets built, girls vaccinated, classrooms upgraded
3. Short, honest reports
Dates, costs, photos, beneficiary counts, and maintenance plans

People of action. Seven focus areas. One simple goal: lasting change, close to home.
