CSR Conclave 2025 Honors 30 Companies for Exemplary Social Impact

Madurai, September 14, 2025:

CSR Conclave 2025, organized by Rotary International District 3000 and hosted by the Rotary Club of Madurai Innovators, was held yesterday at Grand Madurai by GRT Hotels. The event brought together over 30 leading companies from across India that are actively shaping communities through impactful CSR initiatives.
The Conclave was graced by Chief Guest Su. Venkatesan, MP, Madurai, who praised the efforts of corporates and Rotary in advancing education, health, livelihoods, environment, and sanitation. He highlighted Rotary’s role in linking communities with corporates and stressed the need for collective responsibility in driving lasting social change.

During the event, 30 companies were recognized and awarded for their contribution to community development in various domains, including notable names such as Excel Maritime & Logistics Pvt Ltd, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, L&T Finance Limited, Sri Kauvery Medical Care (India) Limited, Bisleri International, TVS Srichakra, Subham Freight Carriers India Pvt Ltd, and many others. The companies expressed appreciation for Rotary’s transparent processes and credibility, and many suggested that Rotary continue the CSR Conclave as an annual platform for collaboration, recognition, and networking.

Rotary leaders Rtn. J. Karthik (District Governor), Rtn. Gopalkrishnan (Past District Governor), and Rtn. P. Kumarappan (District Secretary – CSR) reiterated Rotary’s commitment to long-term CSR partnerships that transform communities through transparent governance, co-funding opportunities, and measurable impact.

Rtn. R.V.N. Kannan (District Rotary Foundation Chair), Dr. G. M. Bharath Kumar (President, Rotary Club of Madurai Innovators), Rtn. Senthil Nathan, Rtn. Kannadasan, Rtn. Narendran (Event Organising Team), and Rotarians from across District 3000 were present, adding strength and solidarity to the conclave.

Rotary Foundation (India) has become a preferred CSR partner for 80+ corporates, channeling over US$ 12 million into 230 projects across India in 2024–25. In District 3000, Rotary showcased flagship projects such as building 55 school toilet blocks worth ₹3.2 crores (benefitting 13,750 students), the Pink Auto project empowering 50 women, and health initiatives including 7 dialysis centres and mobile cancer screening in Trichy, together reaching thousands across the region.

The conclave underscored Rotary’s role as a trusted partner for corporates in ensuring that CSR funds deliver measurable and sustainable social impact.
