About Rtn. J. Karthik
Who he is
A third-generation Rotarian and a member of Rotary Club of Perambalur, Rtn. J. Karthik has been active in Rotary since 1999. He served as Club President (2008–09) and has taken on a range of roles before and after, always close to the work on the ground.
Professional background
An MBA (GRDIM, Bharathiar University), Karthik leads the Bharath Group of Companies, known locally for steady, values-driven operations. The group spans passenger transport, fuel retail (gas station), schools, hotels, wind energy, blue-metal/crusher, real estate, agriculture, tyre retail & wheel alignment, and C&F.
Rotary roots & family
Service runs in the family. He is the grandson of Late Charter Member Rtn. K. Narayanasamy Reddiar, and the son of Charter Member PP. Major Donor K. N. Jayaraman and PP. J. Malliga.
He is married to Rtn. Major Donor K. Saranya; they have two daughters, K. Thithiksha and K. Maanshara. His father-in-law was PDG Late Rtn. Elangovan.
